Monster Apple Snacks – Easy

Monster Apple Snacks make lunchtime fun. The kiddos will love these adorable apple snack monsters with toothy grins and big googly eyes.

These Monster Apple Snacks are another SIS (simple is smart) recipe. They are also fun to make and fun to eat. What do you need to make them? This is a 4 ingredient recipe. Apples, peanut butter, pinenuts, and candy eyes.

Let’s make these little monsters. This is an easy recipe that you can make with the kiddos. You will need to cut the apple into 8 pieces. Carefully cut out the apple core and then cut a wedge out of the side with the skin. The kiddos will eat the skins, so wash the apple well and purchase organic apples.

Now it’s time to let the kiddos take over. Add the teeth by first spreading the peanut butter in the “mouth” and then attaching pinenuts to the peanut butter to make them look like a row of teeth.

Finally, add the eyeballs. Make a cyclops or give the monster a third eye. The kiddos will love eating them once they are done creating them.
