Strawberries and Chocolate Hummus Naan

Strawberries and Chocolate Hummus Naan: Whoa, say what, chocolate hummus? Really? I saw this in the store the other day and knew I had to try it. I brought it home and dipped some strawberries and bananas into it. YUM. I discovered it is also delicious, by the spoonful, mixed half and half, with peanut butter. It tastes kind of like Reese’s peanut butter cup. I then decided to try it on bread, and fortunately, the only bread I had was Naan. SCORE! The result is this strawberry and chocolate hummus naan. 

Where can I find Chocolate Hummus? 

I found this Chocolate Hummus in the refrigerated case of my local chain grocery store.  Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods also carries it if you can’t find chocolate hummus in your local grocery store.

How Do I Make Strawberries and Chocolate Hummus Naan?

  This recipe is easy to make. In fact, this recipe is so easy that my 8-year old granddaughter and her younger 5-year-old brother can make it. I give them the hard-boiled egg slicer I have so they don’t have to use a knife. I am not sure what they like better. Eating the chocolate or using the egg slicer to slice the strawberries. When they make the recipe, it doesn’t look a nice as this, but it still tastes delicious.  

Oh, that’s right, I need to tell you how to make it. Easy, just spread the hummus on the Naan, Add the sliced strawberries and garnish with a little mint. That’s all there is to it.

  • 1 piece Homemade Naan Bread
  • 3 tbsp chocolate Hummus
  • 8 sliced strawberries
  • mint for garnish

Instructions

  • spread the chocolate Hummus on a piece of Naan
  • Top with the sliced strawberries.
  • Garnish with the mint and cut into 8 triangles, serve as an appetizer or dessert.
