Coffee Frappe Recipe

This icy coffee drink is the best way to cool down and wake up on a hot day.

Equipment

  • powerful blender like a ninja or blendtec.

Ingredients

  • 24 oz cold strong-brewed coffee (708g)
  • 3 cups ice cubes (450g)
  • 2 tbsp half and half
  • 2 tbsp flavored coffee creamer
  • 1 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • cups low-fat milk (350g)
  • ¼ cup simple syrup (60g)
  • whipped cream on top (optional and adds 100 calories)

Instructions

  • Put all the ingredients in a powerful blender and blend until ice is completely crushed to slushy consistancy. Seal the top of the blender with some stretch tight under the lid to keep it from leaking. I blend the drink for about 1 minute.
  • Pour into 3 tall glasses and top with whipped cream. Serve immediately

Notes
