Breakfast Parfait - Monsters for St. Patrick's Day
This Breakfast Monster Parfait is wearing green to celebrate St. Paticks Day.

Plastic Parfait cups 5-ounce size.
- 1 cup granola (100g)
- 15 ounces yogurt
- green food coloring
- St. Patricks Day Sprinkles
- 1 cup whipping cream
Make stabilized whipping cream (click here for the recipe) Split it in half and color one half dark green and one half light green. Put in a 12-inch pastry bag and set aside.
Split the yogurt between 3 bowls and add green food coloring to each bowl and stir in. Make one bowl dark green and one bowl light green. (see notes for dye-free food coloring)
Use a plastic 5-ounce dessert parfait cup. Draw the mouth on the cup with a red marker. Layer the yogurt alternating with the granola. click here for the granola recipe.
Layer dark green yogurt, granola, light green yogurt, granola, dark green yogurt.
Partially flatten each bag of tinted whipping cream and insert both bags into a large 18-inch bag with a large star piping tip attached. Pipe the whipped cream in a swirl on top of the yogurt.
Top with a swirl of stabilized whipped cream, Add sprinkles and large candy eyeballs.
The parfaits can be made several hours before serving. The granola will soften and not be as crunchy. Kids may prefer it softer.
