DIY Baking Mix - Bisquick
This DIY baking mix is my substitute for bisquick. I use it for pancakes, waffles, and biscuits. It makes breakfasts quick and simple.
- 4 cups All-purpose Flour
- 2 Tbsp Baking Powder
- 2 tsp Sea Salt
- ⅔ cup Vegetable Shortening
Put all the ingredients in a food processor
Pulse until the shortening is evenly incorporated into the flours. The mixture resembles fine crumbs.
Put the baking mix in an airtight container in the Fridge. The baking mix will keep in the fridge for several months.
